Our organic user base keeps growing every day and we noticed most users uploaded tens of songs to the platform. However, we noticed that most of them were not adding all the required information to monetise music via our systems.
We decided to make things easier and bring things back to basics.
The Soundpickr music panel is now simpler than ever and artists can tokenise songs much more easily and access a new way to make money with music. Keep reading to get the details.
New monetisation format
We put it to a vote and our 2k users decided their preferred way to monetise their music is to sell it directly as in-game assets.
For the past 2 years, we’ve been building a wide network of games, apps, dApps, and metaverse that will now be listing our users’ music as in-app assets.
What does this mean? — we hear you ask.
We’ve built a web3 version of iTunes but spread across platforms that have over 3M monthly active users. We’ll be launching a pilot program in a few weeks and once we’ve confirmed the tech is solid, we’ll be deploying this new format across our network.
We’re aiming to ensure our users benefit from this new pivot and we want to make things better ahead of greener times in the market.
